Peter Luck joined Beyond Legal Aid as a staff attorney in February 2024. He works in collaboration with Tenant Education Network and focuses primarily on housing law.

Peter earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and later graduated cum laude from American University Washington College of Law in 2020. In law school, he volunteered with The Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program, conducting legal intakes at the Washington VA Medical Center. He also gained valuable federal government experience at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. After law school, Peter passed the Illinois bar exam and worked in healthcare law for several years.

Peter is excited to practice community activism lawyering at Beyond and work to achieve just ends for community members. In his free time, Peter enjoys listening to music and spending time with his dog, Griffey.
