Over the past two years, Beyond Legal Aid has collaborated with Ceres Policy Research to evaluate and document the impact of our community activism lawyering model.

The evaluation showed the importance of Beyond's community activism lawyering work in empowering historically marginalized communities as agents of change. Of those who took our survey, over 95% agreed with each of the following:

"My main attorney considered or used my ideas and suggestions when coming up with a possible solution for my legal concern." (95% agreed)
"My main attorney created a comfortable environment for me to share private information about myself/my concern with them." (96% agreed)
"Since working with my main attorney, I feel confident to assert my rights when it comes to my legal concern" (100% agreed)
