To address the increasing concerns of immigrant communities and Their allies, CALA has created special initiatives to help. These initiatives extend our free legal services to more immigrants who do not have access to an attorney. One of these is the CALA Helpline.CALA now provides a free helpline to any immigrant caller without access to an attorney. Every caller will receive a free immigration screening and legal consultation. The helpline operates both in English and Spanish and will be regularly checked every weekday. Every caller must leave a message and All calls will be returned for a free immigration screening within 7 days.
