Liz Willis joined Beyond Legal Aid as a Supervising Attorney in March 2024. Prior to joining Beyond Legal Aid, Liz was a co-founder of the Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project, where she worked for six years. She graduated from Yale Law School in 2017. While in law school, she was a member of the Worker and Immigrant Rights Advocacy Clinic. Before law school, she worked with Asylum Access in Quito, Ecuador. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013. In her spare time, Liz enjoys reading and exploring Chicago with her family.
